Howard M. Hirsch founded Hirsch MPG LLC in 1994 to offer Architectural and Planning Services to a wide range of clients on a variety of project types. Hirsch MPG has grown continuously since inception into a talented collection of architects and staff. As Founder and President of the firm, Howard is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the firm’s operations and output. He takes a personal responsibility and an active role in all projects, whether large or small. He has designed numerous award winning, and RFP selected projects.
Howard brings with him over 30 years of experience as an Architect, Designer, Project Manager and Land Planner. His past experience includes work on residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects. Howard has worked closely with some of the brightest members of the development community as an integral part of their development team, often involved from the inception of the project. He has a very strong working knowledge of the development process including programming, conceptual studies, budgeting, municipal presentations and approvals, and market analysis.
Howard prides himself on his involvement in successful residential and commercial developments. Howard has always attempted to expand his knowledge and capabilities by working on projects of all sizes, types and scales and sees the practice of architecture as a continuing education and learning process.
Howard is a registered architect in Illinois, Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin and Tennessee and is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Association of Licensed Architects, Lambda Alpha International and has NCARB certification and is LEED accredited. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign and a Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Prior to founding Hirsch MPG, Howard was an Architect at Braun Skiba Ltd. of Chicago. When Braun Skiba merged with McClier Corp., Howard’s responsibilities included Project Design, Project Management, and ultimately Management of the Industrial Design Group.
In his 31 years of work around the globe, Andrew has garnered a wealth of experience producing buildings that are sensitive to diverse cultures and climatic conditions while adhering to local building codes and construction practices. His experience encompasses a wide variety of building types ranging in size from 5,000 to over 10 million square feet and including residential, hotels, office buildings, exhibition facilities, cultural and performing arts centers, educational facilities, healthcare and mixed-use projects. His responsibilities include both the design and technical aspects of architecture and proceed from conceptual design through the production and coordination of construction documents.
Prior to joining Hirsch MPG, Andrew worked for such noted firms as DeStefano and Partners, Ltd; Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB);, Skidmore Owings and Merrill (SOM) and HOK. Some of his noted projects include Canyon Ranch Living, The Fairbanks and St. Clair towers in Chicago, the Doosan Haeundae We’ve the Zenith development in Busan Korea and BOCOM in Suzhou China among numerous others. As a Principal of Hirsch MPG, Andrew will lead the team effort on the design of larger scale and more complex projects, working closely with our clients, consultants and talented staff.
In over 28 years of working on projects around the world, Richard has a broad range of experience producing construction documents and leading construction phase efforts on buildings that adhere to local governing codes and construction practices as well as adapting to diverse cultural and climatic conditions. His experience encompasses a wide variety of complex building types including multi-unit residential, hospitality, commercial office buildings, cultural facilities, educational, healthcare and large scale mixed-use projects. His responsibilities include contributing to the design and leading the technical aspects of architecture production from schematic design through construction document production and construction services.
Prior to joining Hirsch MPG, Richard worked for such noted firms as Skidmore Owings and Merrill (SOM) and Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum (HOK). He was a partner at DeStefano and Partners and a founding partner of Built Form. Some of his noted projects include the Sioux City Arts Center in Iowa, Clark and Grand Hotels, Citadel Tower and Breakthrough Men’s Facility in Chicago, Skyscape condominium tower in Minneapolis, The Gallery on Fulton in Grand Rapids, Energy City in Doha, Qatar, Crystal Towers in Sochi, Russia among numerous others. As a Principal at Hirsch MPG, Richard will lead the team effort in production documentation and construction services of all larger scale and more complex projects, working closely with our clients, consultants and talented staff.

Over the past 23 years David has worked on a wide variety of projects including multi-family residential, hospitality, commercial, airport terminals, mixed-use towers and higher educational facilities. The majority of his experience has been in developer driven commercial and multi-family/ mixed-use mid-rise and high-rises. He has studied innovative approaches to design including kinetic architecture, living wall systems and passive design principles.
